He often gets into trouble with Lord Grimp who thinks he deliberately allows Grimp Junior out on his partying outings (however, it's Grimp Junior who tricks him away from the gate and who slips out himself).

| Gatekeeper, obviously the one
who guards the castle gate, always dresses up in his scary costume with a
skull for a hat! This is mainly to scare unwanted trespassers. However,
underneath it all, he's quite a gentle fellow except when he's been
drinking and he can have quite a hot temper when provoked.
